THE NATURAL CALAMITY
THE two natural calamities which have shook the world is by no mean small.
The Nargis (The storm) which took a few lakh population away from the globe and the Burma Junta disabling the good work of the Red Cross, UN and the USA, keeps us wondering? Is there no human element in saving lives and the epidemic there after? Junta has no value for lives and is in the role of making a disaster as a recipe for the toast of the Burmese people.
Sad that humanitarian work is hampered and only god willing these implements must go to save the left over persons still alive and clinging to something???.
The quake in China is a grim reminder that we in the world are not permanent.
The quick relief operations unlike the Burma tangle have left some solace to the people who have survived.
Also the government and the voluntary agencies have come in good number to keep the flag flying.
The question is what will happen if there is no RED CROSS, UNITED NATIONS AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA .in terms of emergency?
Sane minds must in the chair in the Junta to let people have their needs and humanitarian help to flow.
